Oil Containment Tube

Titan OC Tube® is an efficient and cost-effective (in-water) oil sludge dewatering and containment vessel.   The woven polypropylene fabric has a low specific gravity permitting it to float.  Once deployed, oil sludge and tar balls can be conventionally skimmed and pumped into the Titan OC Tube at sea, saving significant transit time and expense.  Once filled, it can be simply towed to shore for recycling or disposal. 

Titan OC Tubes® are available in various sizes and have a high UV resistance and tensile strength.

Oil Skimmer Tube

Titan Shark Tube® (patent pending) is a unique and specially designed containment vessel capable of entrapping oil sludge and tar balls on the water surface while being towed by various watercrafts, including shrimp boats.   No sophisticated skimming or pumping equipment is required.  The heavy duty fabric has a low specific gravity, permitting it to float on the water surface.  Once filled, the Titan OS Tube® inlet is simply sealed closed, permitting the tube to be safely towed to shore for recycling or disposal.

Beach Protection Mat

TitanMat® is a nonwoven composite mat specifically designed to protect public beaches and other high profile coastal areas from hydrocarbon contamination.  This unique design permits the absorption of hydrocarbons while repelling water.  The high tensile strength fabric permits TitanMat® to be securely anchored on the beach, preventing displacement by wave action or wind.  For large areas, TitanMat® can be sewn into a large sheet on-site by experienced Flint installation personnel.

Containment Boom Skirt  

TitanSkirt® is a nonwoven composite mat specifically designed for attachment to existing containment booms or dredge pipe used for oil containment to provide hydrocarbon absorption capability.  The low specific gravity of TitanSkirt® permits it to float outward from the boom, effectively absorbing floating hydrocarbons.  Once saturated with hydrocarbons, TitanSkirt® can simply be removed for disposal and easily replaced.  

TitanSkirt® is available in Standard (non-ballasted) or TitanSkirt-B (ballasted, permitting the skirt to hang vertically).
